02 — The story

Intern to permanent in seven months

I joined Farm Fresh as an intern in March 2025. Three months later I was promoted into the 8-month Protégé programme — and on 29 September 2025, four months in, I was converted straight to permanent staff with zero probation. Along the way I built the IT department's first e-ticket system and designed an in-house phishing simulation that saved roughly RM80,000 in vendor costs.

Before that: system development at UTMDigital, a Computer Science degree at UiTM Melaka, and six years running sales and marketing for a phone accessories business on the side.

Joined Farm Fresh IT. Built the department's first E-Ticket system from scratch.

Full-Stack Developer (Permanent) — Farm Fresh Milk Sdn Bhd

Converted to permanent staff on 29 September 2025 — straight out of the Protégé programme, with no probation period. Own eight internal and external production platforms end to end in Laravel, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL, and support branches nationwide as systems analyst and IT support engineer.

Protégé Full-Stack Developer — Farm Fresh Milk Sdn Bhd

Promoted from intern within three months and selected for the 8-month Protégé programme. Kept building and shipping the company's internal and external platforms while covering IT support — then exited the programme early, four months in, fast-tracked to permanent.

Full-Stack Developer Intern — Farm Fresh Milk Sdn Bhd

Built the in-house IT Management & E-Ticket system from scratch, replacing Excel. Designed a phishing simulation and cybersecurity awareness platform for company-wide staff training — saving roughly RM80,000 in vendor costs. Managed Wi-Fi AP setup, server-room maintenance and end-user support.

Developed a digital filing and documentation management system for the Pembangunan Professional department; maintained and optimised the department's official website.
